Turbo installation (h22a4)

Is it the most hardest complicated thing to do? Honestly doesnt look like it. I know where the MAIN parts go but i see little things where i would know where they would be installed? How much do you think the installation runs for?

Re: Turbo installation (h22a4)

pretty damn self-explanatory. except for when you gotta start modifying/customizing parts, like trimming motor mounts, cross-braces, the chassis, the IC piping...

just get a buddy or two, coupla cases of brews, and a long weekend.

moved to FI section.

Clutch/Flywheel combo without a doubt. If you got all that then that is definitely the next step up.

haven't got boost yet. But can't wait. Buying a replacement motor so I can pull the original for the rebuild. I figure it will be easier to handle the plumming with an empty bay. Any advice guys?

Re: Turbo installation (h22a4)

can u weld? Your gonna have to make a downpipe and it should connect to ur exhaust. If ur gonna run an external wastegate, ur gonna need a dump tube.

Some of the things u can get away with, by not paying outrageous amounts of money for it....BUT usually they require some brain power and creativity to get it to work. The cheap sh!t is usally not bolt on and go....something has to be done/modified/moved around.
