For The Win.

You don't know a price range? Ruh-oh.

Let's see.. rough total would be.. just south of $6,000.

FTW = for the win. meaning its better.

i said #2, cuz you could prolly piece together your own kit with every piece in choice #1 for about $2,000 max. that saves you 1.5K to spend on building the block.

plus the second option is also better cuz it'll almost garuntee the life of your engine, instead of risking 7-8psi on stock internals.

Ok so will it still pass emissions, and will it still be daily driveable?

beats me. emissions and state regulations vary from state to state. find someone w/ an aftermarket turbo in georgia and ask them.

daily drivable??
way too many factors to tell. if your running 13:1 compression, then no, cuz you can't use pump gas.
20psi prolly isn't too daily-driver-friendly either.

do your research @ honda-tech and homemadeturbo.com, and i mean PLENTTYYY of research, then come back with any other questions.

OR, as long as you do a COMPLETE build, get a boost controller, run 8-12 psi for daily driving, then if you decide to race or something, crank it up, when you're done, turn it back down.

depends on what you want you can always make more power with a turbo over a NA car and usually spend a little less money. but turbos are more trouble.

Again the perfect size turbo is up to you, depends on what you are looking to make a car that will have boost in town, or a highway boost car, that will have lag. I prefer a car with boost in town, and this can be argued but alot of people tend to think that a 16g or a t3/t4 around a 57 trim is a good size for this engine.
