Just wondering if any of you had ideas when it comes to rattles or noises on the interior of the car. My 5th gen was wrecked by the PO. Interior though is in pretty good condition seeing that it spent 13 years in the Miami sun. The car had a butt load of noises on the interior. Especially coming from the rear deck. I have reduced the interior noises considerably. For one I removed the 3rd brake light. Replaced the Base deck with an SH deck. Pushed as hard as I could on the rear plastic covers. They weren't secure. The dash rattled as well. I put black electrical tape on the inside lip of the dash. I know that's ghetto. Can't see it with the dash closed and for now that one is gone as well. What else can be done to eliminate the remaining noise?

I'm thinking about just putting in yellow bulbs because I want the light output to be yellow, the yellower the better. I don't want to HID it either, do you think i would be able to achieve the bright yellow with just the bulbs?

Also what bulbs do you suggest for me to get this going?

Does anyone have any pictures of clear foggies with just yellow bulbs , I just want to see the output of yellow on it.

** Also , Someone said they recommended Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs, and I just noticed on Ebay that there about $20 and also it says the bulbs are 70watts, can the replicas handle that?

thanks guys.

Today on my list of things to do was clean all the metal interior panels and prep for laying damplifer pro sound deadening. As i began cleaning i came to the realization that i have a lot of waterproof/sealing work to do. I've found around 6 holes in my car that go through the car... There's two in the trunk, two under the steering column, and two under the passenger storage compartment. I want to seal these before i lay the sound deadener. Where can i find rubber plugs that will seal them??
^^ I'm now dealing with rust too!!! Are these holes normal or did the bonehead i bought it from do this??

Proceeded to spray them lightly till i got desired tint. Put them on this morning and i love they way the look. Browsing post today i saw a few 5th gen ludes with the whole tail light blacked out. I thought it looks super sexy. I just have a few questions. How good is the light output of the brakes and tail lights when the whole thing is blacked out? I didnt go real dark on my bottom half when i did them and the signal blinks bright enough even in the day light. But im concerned about night driving and visibility of my car from all the collage ass hats around here. I know i could take it off if i need too but i would rather not half too take it off twice. Also any opinions on which looks better are welcome, whole tail light or just the bottom half. Also as a side note i ordered some orange 7440 signal bulbs so i will be clearing the amber piece out of the tail lights when they get here. Need to see how much the stealership want for some of the taillight gaskets.

Note: this pic is the engine upside down. My question is, do all preludes have this and mine is just missing? Or is it a revised part or only installed on later years.

There might already be a thread on this but I cant find it. I am having a mother of a time getting my crank shaft pulley bolt off. Ive been trying for the past 3 hrs. My friggin air compressor keeps blowing the fuse in my house as soon as it hits 115 psi. I even tried plugging it into a different zone in the house and it stilled keeps blowing. Ive tried three different impact guns at 115 psi, Ive tried heating it up around the outside of the bolt, and using a breaker bar. Ive sprayed bp blaster and let it soak. I cant find a pipe anywhere to get more torque leverage. And you can't use the bump the key trick because the pulley spins counter-clock-ways . I've heard these things can be a bitch sometimes, but damn, cant I catch a break! Any tips or advice anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. these things aren't left hand thread are they??? (opposite of regular threads) Ive been trying the lefty loosey way.
