This was my first ever time on a track, apart from gokarts :P It was fantastic!! I was a bit worried what was going to be on the track at the same time as me so I bought track day insurance just in case. It turned out that the guys there were just like me, and didnt take it too seriously and were very friendly and considerate to other cars on the track 8) Most of the cars on the track in my sessions were either stripped out track cars or Evo's with full slicks etc... The only cars that were like my Lude was a Focus ST and a CTR. The only preperation I did to the car before I went on the track was to take my loose change out of my armrest to stop it from rattling around, so I was lugging my ususal weight around.

For my £60 I got 8 x 10min sessions. The first 6 were in the dry, the last two were in the wet. In the wet my car was great, rough timing showed I was only a couple of seconds down on my dry times. In the dry I was mauled by the WRX's and Evo's, but in the wet they seemed to not be able to get their power down and I was keeping right up there with them.

The Lude was great on the track, although my tyres suffered. I was able to pick chunks of hot rubber off them after every session :lol: Other than that my brakes have developed a bit of a squeel, probally roasted all the grease off. In the 100 miles on the track I used 3/4 of a tank of fuel and a litre of oil.
