Driver side window

Let my lil sister drive my car (huge mistake) and she came home saying the window wouldn't go down. I'm guessing its an electrical problem, all she said was it worked when she got to the store, came out to drive home and it wouldn't go down anymore. No noise is made at all when you press the button down, and the passenger window still works perfect. What all should I try/look at before taking it to a shop to get it fixed? PLEASE HELP... Can't even go through a damn drive thru anymore this sucks

Re: Driver side window

check all your fuses under dash and the ones in the hood. if none of that works it might be the switch.

Re: Driver side window

My passenger window did the exact same thing, so I ended up buying a new regulator/motor assembly (paid ~$25 shipped) and changed it, and it's worked perfectly since.

Re: Driver side window

im having the same issue, only with my passenger side window. Fuses are fine. I replaced the regulator/motor, still didn't work. I tested the regulator/motor itself and the window rolled down, but when I plugged the switch in, it didn't work. I replaced the switches on both sides, and my passenger window still won't go down. What else should I check? thx
