removing plastic fasteners from carpet?

I tried pulling them with pliers and flat head screwdrivers but I can't get them out. I didn't want to pull too hard because I'm afraid of damaging anything. How do I properly remove these plastic fasteners?

I've searched here for a bit but couldn't find the answer. I'll try search again.

Try it with a set of bent nose pliers. put the tips under the circle part, but around the "stud". don't pull, but squeeze and pry. make sense? it's hard to explain, but may make more sense while doing it.

Use a flat screwdriver and wedge btwn the crack to slightly lift the center piece. While doing that then use a nose plier to clamp underneath n pull towards you to pop off!!

Worst case you break it and order a bag full of them from ebay!

they mad cheap as hell for a bunch of them!

Re: removing plastic fasteners from carpet?

Remove the trimming to the hole that goes to the inside and You could get your hand behind that board and push/pull where the fastener is at and the entire board should come off.
