Car Fridge

Does anyone know of a way that i could install a mini-fridge into my trunk? I've looked online and saw some really small fridges but I don't know of any way of doing this so it can stay on when I would need it, and not kill my battery. If anyone has some ideas of how this could work please say.

Thanks

Re: Car Fridge

my old prelude had the whole trunk dynamated, and it also kept the cold in. id keep ice and beer where my spare went, and it would take more then a day for the ice to melt it was pretty sweet.

Re: Car Fridge

how about replacing a back seat with the fridge that way you have more sizing options. build a ported insulated box around the back of it with some insulation inside and ask lilmsprelude to come up with a way to wire a switch in or use this Amazon.com: Connectland CL-CAR-G180AF 180-Watt DC/AC Car Power Inverter: Electronics so that way you can plug in your fridge when you wanna use it. for the grill thing ya'll are on your own =).

Re: Car Fridge

You would need a way bigger power inverter than that little guy. I've actually put quite a few in where guys have put fridges on the backseat. Mainly trucks. The Ridgeline is close. For those of you who have seen em....tell me that wasn't designed for beverages in mind.

Re: Car Fridge

I actually considered turning my 4th gen "Sex Blocker" into an actual cooler once. Mounting all the hardware in the trunk and running it through.

Decided against it very quickly as it would eliminate 97% of my storage space in the car.
