Dash Led Light Conversion to blue

I've been wondering this eversince i got my lude... i wanted the lights in the dash board, console, etc... to be blue. I saw someone do it in their BMW and it looked so cool, but it was a tedious task and most people don't even want to try it. Also, when i researched it on other sites, forums, etc.. everyone was talking about doing tints on the led lights and whole bunch of other stuff, but i didn't like that idea because i didn't think it would have that clean look. So I kept searching all over the place and BADDA BING!!!! I found this site. I haven't even tried it yet, but I thought i would share it with everyone anyhow.

So... for everyone that ever wanted to switch the color of their dash lights in their lude, here you go!!!!!!

http://www.ledautomotive.com/OrderInfo/97-01Prelude/

They are available in Blue and Red. The site provides installation instructions. Hope this helps someone. Enjoy!

thanks, thats great too. when I posted that link though, i was thinking it would be great for ppl that aren't electrically inclined. i know sum ppl dont know crap about that stuff, afraid of messing up when replacing the lights, or are just plain lazy! so, i guess its a good alternative.

I on the other hand... i'll definitely look into it. it looks pretty simple to do.

Re: Dash Led Light Conversion to blue

There is a DIY on how to do this with "purchased" LED buld assemblies on just about every interior Panel/Light.

Ironically, there are more on how to de-solder/solder your own...

Just sayin'

Re: Dash Led Light Conversion to blue

Will this kit work for the 4th gen as well? Are the bulbs the same sizes?
