Exterior makeover

My brother recently gave me his old Prelude. One thing that I for sure learned as he unloaded it from his truck was don't take your New Mexico. I am trying to make the car be able to relive its glory days by getting a new paint job, rubber window trims, and small parts of the body such as the emblems and other little thing that goes on the hood. Please help me out by telling me where I can get this done and around how much the price would be. I live in Baldwin Park, SoCal near LA.

PS: That's my dad's Prelude in the background that somehow works, but I would rather put in around $3000 to make mine really nice than the $6000 that his would need to keep it running minimally.

Re: Exterior makeover

it could only cost around $3k.
but you're asking the wrong crowd.
we wont be doing the work on it.
go get an estimate done by professionals if that's who you want the work done by.

Re: Exterior makeover

I understand that. Maaco would charge me at least $3000 for the whole thing, but does anyone know somewhere they would recommend that I can take my Lude? I saw the post earlier about the place in Huntington Beach and Maaco but I wanted to know if there were any closer and more efficient places.

Re: Exterior makeover

you might be able to find someone on craigslist that can paint your car way cheaper. you can even do the prep work your self to save some more money.
