exterior mod question

so while i save up money for a H22 ive been looking to change up the exterior. im not looking for a body kit or anything, just something to make my car stand out from the other ludes. so far i painted the wheels black (i like the look of my factory rim, just wish it was a 16 or 17) i painted the front lip, rockers, gills, and mud flaps black (they were kinda gray, they looked like crap) i painted all my emblems black. and painted a "H" on the third brake light. Im eventually going to do the glass sunroof, suede headliner, and duel outlet exhaust. im just curious as to what other "free" or cheap mods anyones done for the look of there car. also should there be a rear lip on my car?

also i want to take the inner marker/blinker lights and make them fogs is there a bulb set out there to do this or if i were to get clear markers would the housing be able to stand the heat of a fog bulb?

Re: exterior mod question

I'm planning on going dual outlet also. After a little searching I think the Flowmaster 80 series will do the job nicely. I would love to get a fujitsubo but can't sink the money in the exhaust right now. But can't stand the big ass can the previous owner had on it. I'm going to be running a spyder rear bumper so dual outlets just makes for a clean look.

Re: exterior mod question

ive had experience with the 80 series on v8s and they rasp real bad, i could only imagine what theyd sound like on a 4 banger. i was thinking borla or corsa.

Re: exterior mod question

stay away from flowmaster and magnaflow, thryre both garbage. as for "free" mods, theres other things you can do. engine bay tuck, paint your VC, sh*t like that. i know theyre not exterior but whatever. next thing you should definitely do is save for some coilovers and drop it. or try to find a stock wing for cheap

Re: exterior mod question

ya those are what i was talking about thinks that are visually appealing like the wire tuck. i was also thinking about making a cover for the firewall to hide all that crap and painting the motor and transmission. im going to drop it probably 1 -1.5" and ive been thinking about a wing defiantly stock, im not building a ricer. also i was wondering whats the best muffler to run? (im more of a V8 kind of a guy, 4 cylinders are new to me) i know i dont want a fart can, more something quiet yet aggressive. something that has low drone at cruising speeds but makes people turn there heads when i punch it.

Re: exterior mod question

youtube mr2 flowmaster the blue mr2 is a 1.8 listen to the tone. I thought it wouldn't sound good but its actually pretty nice sound. judge for your self I just happened to stumble across the video. thought I would pass it along cheaper than a greddy or the like and still sounds good.

Idk about Preludes because i never studied the suspension much but i know Integra's front struts can't be swapped from side to side.
