whatever you do avoid autozone and similar places, i was dumb enough to buy a set of wheel locks from them and not a week later one of them is rounded out and stuck on my car

Gorilla "the system" that is the lowest you should go. 4 separate key locks are also good.

There are real 2 level security lugs that come in any color for 170.00, you get this kit, it will keep your rims on your car. Price being a factor, out of your budget. Buy it once, never again.

These:
Volk Racing Formula Lug Nuts

I have the gorilla system, plus three different wheel locks, every so often, swap them to keep thieves from using a master wheel removal kit. your call.

such high security, unless youre rockin some real valuable/rare wheels, is unnecessary/excessive...besides, if thieves really want the wheels, they'll get them. all kinds of ways for them to bypass security measures.

Muteki's are cheap and the paint doesn't last too long.

Re: What are the Best Brand of Lug Nuts Under $70 a set

True, the point is you buy the right set off the bat, you don't need to replace them again, because they are such high quality. Also, It's not to stop thieves completely, just too time consuming so they move onto something easier.

Ebay for some lugs, lots of replacements go for 35.00-90.00, just makes sense to pony up for some lug nuts you can't take off by going to Sears.

Re: What are the Best Brand of Lug Nuts Under $70 a set

I definitely agree with that. I did mean just getting the 17mm/19mm/21mm sockets. the volks have a free spinning jacket, so you can only open it from the inside, and the internal key is coded, so P.I.T.A. is pretty accurate.

Did op even decide if he wanted dress up lugs or security lugs? Muteki's are fine. I had a set for my 3rd gen, did the trick.

Re: What are the Best Brand of Lug Nuts Under $70 a set

Well im just needing them for style more than anything. Looking for some colored ones. I'm rockin some stock Si wheels and am not really worried about people stealing them though i wouldn't mind some lug nut locks with a set of keys.
