Spider webbing paint on bumpers

I just bought a new prelude and the paint in the bumpers and lip have started to spider web around some mild impact damage. It's not too noticeable but I'd like to get it fixed. Should I get them repainted, clear coated or just leave em?
Any suggestions?

Xtina

Re: Spider webbing paint on bumpers

It's all personal preference: If it really annoys you, then a bumper and lip repaint might be worth it. You could be looking at paying around $200 for a quality job, though. The new paint will also be a slightly different shade due to the age of the car.

I had my front bumper repaired and repainted (It had chipping body filler, spiderwebbing paint, and minor impact damage.) a couple weeks ago when I got my lip kit painted. It was an additional $200 including shaving the license plate holes, but everything turned out great and I definitely think it was worth the money. The shade difference is slightly noticeable in certain light, but I'll be having the hood and fenders repainted and blended eventually so it doesn't bother me.
