BB4 Fogs

Ok so i just need some explanation or info on putting my fogs in place. I made the rational decision to buy them since the original owner voided them as a option. My lude is a 92 Si, and on the bumper where the fogs should be mounted are plastic plates that would seem to block the fogs from fitting, i may be wrong but i only ask because the fogs are still in shippment and not in hand. Do the plates need to be cut out or removed? Is there a mounting bracket for the fogs that i need to buy? Any info would be great i still have to buy the toggle switch and get them wired. So better to get the right equip now than never. Thanks everyone. If there is already a thread to solve this then recommend it to me i just think its better to get a straight up answer than from a thread made months ago.

Re: BB4 Fogs

You can google search and find the actual OEM Honda access directions for the fog install. It will have the template for cutting. If you look at the back of the bumper you will see 3 or 4 prtruding plastic parts that will receive self threading screws. Where you cut is basically in between the space of those protruding plastic pieces. It doesn't really matter how pretty your cut is because the fog bezels cover it all up. Just gotta give room for the fog lights themsellves to sit.

Hope that helps.

No prob. buddy! The bezels aren't too terribly expensive. I think I saw them for like 65 bucks sometime ago. Def. a necessary part though..it'll look like robot eyes looking at you without them. That really is an awesome deal you got as long as you got the switch and relay. Heck even if not you could directly wire them to a switch or the marker lights. I think I paid like $225 for my yellow ones

Re: BB4 Fogs

i saw a guy on preludeonline.com with the covers but i dont remember how long ago that was but he had 3 pairs. wana talk about a good price for foggies, i bought a pair of foggies with the covers from this kid here in orlando for 10 bucksand they work perfect but the only thing was it didnt come with switch or relay and the foggies didnt have the connectors, they were cut off but i got some connectors from a spare h22 wiring harness along with an rc2201relay that was on there also, paid 5 bucks for the harness and 10 bucks for the switch on ebay. what a deal aye but yea on the inside of the bumper cover you will see dotted lines where you would cut out the plastic to put in the foggies just like on the inside of the rear bumper cover for the rear foglight. you would probably need to clean it to see the dotted lines because its very faint.
