HID and Projecter

Hi.

Just got a prelude, and my dad bought me some 5000k Xentec HID's H1 bulb, not knowing you need to use a projector with them for them to be legal. (I told him I wanted HID's)

I don't have the money to retrofit.

I want to use them, and people have suggested depo projector, but they are H7 bulbs and this kit is H1. Has anybody put these in to a projector housing?

Thanks,
Chris Decker

Re: HID and Projecter

can you not swap them for H7's with the company he bought them from?

Re: HID and Projecter

Re: HID and Projecter

or you could just use them like so many other people including myself, until you get the money for a retrofit.

just make sure to aim them down a little bit.

Re: HID and Projecter

Yea, while they are technically illegal; nobody really gives two ****s about them. Might not pass Safety, depending on where you live, though.

Yes officer, I'm that asshole that blinds oncoming traffic

I do it all night, every night. Never had any trouble with the law over that particular subject.
