Wheels question

I'm looking to get new rims and so far I like the Ruff Racing R345

Ruff Racing R345 Wheels

The Hyper Black with machined lip. However idk anything about Ruff Racing and I mainly like these rims because the mesh combined with the bolts around the lip are EXACTLY what i'm looking for and they're not $400 a wheel. This is much more around my price range and I have a couple questions.

1) Anybody know anything about Ruff Racing?? If so, hows their quality and such?
2) Any other wheels this exact style mesh with bolts on the lip, 17" that are better quality and under $200 each?
3) Since they're 17x7 what would the ideal tire size be?? I kinda wanted to go up to 215/40/17 but i'm worried the width would look funny on the rim so I'm leaning more back to 205/40/17.

Re: Wheels question

It's just another company that makes low quality wheels like Rota. For $100 a wheel you can't expect these to be very structurally resilient.

215/45/17 is the perfect tire size on a 17x7 imo.

Re: Wheels question

i bet those "bolts" fall off in a month. i think you would be better of getting a mesh wheel form like ASA, Konig, Enkei, or Rota if they still make one

Re: Wheels question

215/40 on a 7in wide wheel is a square setup, its straight up on the rim(flat no stretch or bubble look)

205/40 is a slight stretch but not noticeable at all.
