need help getting it perfect

I want to Blackout the red part of my tails and keep the white, what is the best way to go about doing this. this would be my first attempt so help this noob

i would recomend first removing the tail lights and cleaning them thoroughly. heres a guide on how to do it. i just googled it real fast V6Z24 | How-To - Taillight tinting

...then tape off the clear part with painters tape. Use many light, even coats as opposed to one heavy one. Patience is key.

I found a write-up on it somewhere.. But it's pretty easy.. What color is your lude?

Do most people tint the inside or outside? My buddy and I tinted his taillights on his dodge daytona and we just did the outside of the lights.. It looks black but if you get up close you can still see a hint of dark red..it looks good.

Just make sure the tape is lined up perfect.

my lude is white, i just want to black the reds and take off the amber light inside...i just cant be seen with a half assed tinting job on a clean ass lude
