Brake Cal, and valve cover.

I didn't know whether to look in the product review section or stance, or what, so I just wanted to know everyone's opinion on the best paint to use for the valve cover and calipers and if it was easier to paint the caliper attached or completely removed from the car?

Re: Brake Cal, and valve cover.

definately remove the brake caliper from the car, as too not spray all over the car/tire well. it also looks good to touch up the insides of the caliper, the grooves and etc, with black to give the caliper more depth.

also use high temp color for both. what color are you wanting to use?

Re: Brake Cal, and valve cover.

High temp paint is a must for the valve cover. I also used high temp for my calipers, because its cheaper then the caliper paint. I painted them with them still attached, I used a plastic bag to cover all my rotors and painted away.

Re: Brake Cal, and valve cover.

I seen someone with BLUE G2 BRAKE CALIPER EPOXY PAINT.

It looked awesome and has great reviews for lasting long. It's a two part brush on.

I can't decide if I should get blue or a red..

I tried photoshop but it doesn't give it justice.

--------------

Valve covers are usually painted with high heat wrinkle...
