New rims ... not by choice though >.<

So I woke this morning to find my baby sitting on two scissor jacks and both the drivers side wheels were MIA Wonderful since I live directly across from a local police sub station that has cops in and out of it ALL the time .... Soooo ya after spending the first half of my morning trying to track down a pair of very elusive drivers side 5th gen blades I gave in and headed to the tire store

This is what is on the way now .... should be here Weds if all goes well. Not my first choice but still a pretty pimp looking rim and got a smokin deal on them. Stepped up to some 17 x 7.5's so should have a sexy little stance to it when the rubber hits the ground I'm hoping.

Not sure what to do with the pass. side blades now though ... are they worth anything considering I only have two to find a home for now? They are not in horrible shape but have seen better days.

not a fan of chrome on a prelude, but I think these are going to look really nice. sorry about your luck man. I would suggest a set of locking lugnuts for your new wheels. well worth it IMO.

Ya not a huge fan of chrome really on anything....these are a "mirror machined aluminium" though so I am guessing it's damn near chrome but minus all the headaches I hope. If I ever get around to actually painting my car a different color I will probably end up powder coating the black accents on the rims to match the car.

Yes I did invest in a nice set of locks for the new additions ... you have to stand on one leg and hop in a circle with your tounge hanging out before you stick your thumb on the top secret fingerprint reader I installed under the fender to remove the wheel locks now Seriously though, these bi*ches will be up TIGHT!!

I will get some pics up when the rims show up...will be nice to get the car on the ground again...

LOL 22's would be RE-DONK-U-LAUS on a Lude! The guy at the wheel shop was pushing me to get 19's for it and I was like "Dude...I'm white...lol"

The way our streets are chewed up around here I am going to be nervous enough running a 40 series tire ... think now I should ditch the cheezy lowering springs the previous owner put on and step up to some coilovers or something...and paint them lovely calipers that I was to lazy to when I had the front end apart a few weeks back

Ya they swiped the stock blades that were on it! lol They were not even close to being in perfect condition but they shined up nice...so I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad about it....

I live in a pretty decent neighborhood really...I'm not sure if anybody here in Nebraska even knows what the word ghetto means without googling it lol I have lived in FAR worse neighborhoods/cities and never had people f**king with my cars but ya our cops SUCK ASS! Just had a bunch fired a while back for getting caught spending their whole shifts on the internet or watching movies...good ole Lincoln, Nebraska cops

I think the only reason that they did not steal the passenger side tires was because they could not get to them because of the curb. But really if your gonna steal wheels, steal some **** other then 13 year old stock crap! lol If I were a criminal I would be swiping me some of the VERY smexcy rims off the new Civics....anyways there are maybe 10 or 15 Ludes here in town that I know of so I'm guessing if they are in town eventually I will come across them....

Before the ridiculing begins, yes I was parked on the street but I lived here now on the same quiet residential street right across from a police substation for like the last 5 years and have left my Porsche parked there before too with no problems.

He must've only needed the two rims to put on his bike
IMO he should've gone for three, and gone for a tricycle

Now that I think about it, two wheels missing ain't so bad. I had my entire stereo system stolen twice...while the car was in my driveway. By the way when you do get those rims be sure to upload some pics, I'm curious to know how good they look with the Prelude.
