Seibon CF parts

I want to install a CF front lip, side skirt and rear lip on my lude but idk the difference between MG-style and TJ-style parts. Does anyone know the difference? The picture on their website all look the same kinda and if anyone has pics of them installed on their 5th gen post them up
: )

Re: Seibon CF parts

MG is Seibons Mugen replica and I'm pretty sure TJ is OEM style basically.

Re: Seibon CF parts

Yeah from the parts Ive seen online the TJs look identical to the OEM lip kits and spoilers. But I could be wrong.

You guys have a really good point... Money doesn't grow on trees and $500 is pretty expensive for a lip. I still like it and I'm considering buying the VIS type-s style front lip and the seibon MG style side skirts and rear lip. I still have plenty of time to decide on either polyurethane or CF so I'll give it sone more thought before I buy something.

Re: Seibon CF parts

I'd say get a CF front lip if you're really set on CF and then poly sides and rear.

Re: Seibon CF parts

Best advice is to get a Poly-Urathane material front lip. or kit whateva... but those last long and are very strong!!

Vis hood and seibon front lip.. I love the hood.. Have had it for about 4yrs

$500 bucks isn't cheap for a lip so if ur not made of money get the poly lip...lol

But if u love carbon fiber just save up a lil more and get what u want

I want the hoop to but there were some threads about the seibon cf hoods saying that they get dents or dimples on them because they were to flimsy or something like that. Have u had any problems with ur VIS hood???

Nah, I haven't had any problems with my vis hood.. It is starting to show some wear on it but it is over 4 yrs old..

If you park in the sun or outside or drive it everyday I recommend that u get extra clear coat put on.. It will last a lot longer if u do
