Newly Painted Short Ram!

I got seriously tired of looking at my cheap short ram intake. It was an Ebay special that the previous owner installed and it drove me crazy. The chrome was bubbling and flaking off of the aluminum. I decided to take action.

My supplies:
Rust-Oleum Engine Enamel - Ford Red
3M Sandpaper - 60, 200, 400 (?) grit
Paper
Painters Tape.

Steps:
1.) Remove your intake and take off the filter/couplers
2.) Sand with 60 grit until all paint/crud is completely gone
3.) Go over with 200 grit until the surface is smooth
4.) Fill ends of intake with paper and run string through it
5.) Use tape to block off the inside rim
6.) Coat with one thin coating
7.) Once dried, sand lightly with 400-ish grit
8.) Apply a second coat
9.) Once dried, reinstall

Not bad for a first timer, huh?
