Painting Calipers

Hey, i want to paint my calipers red (i got the black rims to show the brakes).How do you prep/clean them? any product recommendations to clean?

You just want to get any grease-dirt-oil-grime-rust-pitting all clean first maybe brake clean and a rag and then Id sand it down the best you could so you have a nice surface for the paint to adhere to.

sand blaster would do the trick.
if you have one available.
although i don't know if you would want to use it on them or not?

I just recently repainted mine the other day.
I used some brake parts cleaner, you can but it at your local auto store.
