Doing it yourself: Lipkits.

I just got my new S lip kit,
and its my first time doing something on the outside rather then working on the inside. I am very new to appearance,
With my S lipkit

Opentip.com: 92-96 Honda Prelude Type S Front Bumper Lip (PU)
as shown, thats what i have.

eh, cheap, and I liked it.
what it came with:
6 screws,
6 rivets
6 brackets,
2 plastic bolts w/ washers

I know what the screws are, and someone in my area explained the rivets, what he said, it is to make the holes bigger? on both the stock little lip on the prelude bumper, and the type S lip, If thats true, then no problem with that,
i just have no @#$!ing idea what the brackets are for?

can someone please give me more information on installing this lip?
thank you :D
