hey guys i recently got some jdm headlights and i know they have the conversion harness's on password jdm but i was looking into H.I.D's and was interested in doing that but im a super rookie on hid's and just need some help on bulb size if i will still need the conversion harness or what sorry for asking such a broad question like this but i wasnt 100% sure thanks! i just mainly need to know exactly what i will need to make them work & fit into the jdm prelude head lights btw its a 4th gen... THANKS!

to make your life the easiest, you need 4 conversion harness', and then buy an H1/H4 HID kit.

dont know bout HIDs but bulb is H4. y not get some white or bluish (philips has one) H4 bulbs? thats wat i hav now. much cheaper.

Twoke where do you find the 4 conversion harness? Will this make the outside light hi/low and the inner driving light or....what will the setup be?

Conversion harnesses are a waste of money. Get the H1/H4 plugs at autozone they come with a decent length wire; cut off your USDM plugs and solder.

Conversion harness form passordJDM is a breeze. Then the hid kit you get plugs directly into the new harness you get. I just dont like the thought of cutting the wires on my Prelude. This way you can always go back to stock for some reason if u had to. Just order an H4 HID kit and a passwordjdm harness and its like legos from there. Everything snaps together.

hey sorry was lloking more into it now and have one more question what is the difference between the 9005/9006 and the h1/h4 ? what exactly does the 9005/9006 go to thanks prelude zone!!!!!!

they're different style connectors. 9005/6 are USDM headlights, h1/h4 are JDM

I know im late with this but agree that this is the best thing you can do. Personally Im using the regular(stock) H4 headlight bulbs in mine from an old city and it works fine. On the other hand i used PIAA H4's too with direct fit on it.

So can you guys confirm, for the conversion its:

Low beam is: 9006 Harness to H4 Bulb
High beam is: 9005 Harness to H1 Bulb

Correct?
