similar 4th gen mod.. i need help!!!

ok so im helping my borther in law with his EP3 hatch.

this is semi- prelude related considering i did this to my 4th gen before, and i want to do it to his headlight because of how they are setup and we have inspection guidelines in VA.

so on my 4th gen i mod'd my corner marker (2 piece HeadLights.) which was just a steady marker.. well i mod'd it to be a steady marker/turn signal.. and i can't remember how the wiring was setup on the 4th gen (cuz i have a 5th gen now) but i wanted to set up his light the same way.

he has one turn signal facing the front inside his head lights. a set of jdm turn signals.. on his front fenders which only blink.. and a set of front bumper markers (which will be deleted)..

so i want to mod his front turtn signal inside his head light to be steady and be a turn signal.. dual purpose..

i can't figure out how to do this? is it possible?

Re: similar 4th gen mod.. i need help!!!

Use A standard SPDT Relay...

See this thread.

Cut the wire that provides power to the bulb -- the "battery" side of this goes to terminal 30.

Come Out of the relay on Terminal 87a and wires to the light side of the wire you cut.

Terminal 86 to ground,

Terminal 85 needs to be spliced into the blinker light circuit. This is the signal that will make this mod work.

put a ''blank'' over terminal 87 so it cant short.

Now when you turn on your lights, the light inside the headlight will come on like normal, but when your turn signal blinks, it will flash.
