it looks like youll have to make them fit. have you tried emailing the company and asking them how they made the lights fit or if they make a special blinker light?

well those certainly aren't stock signals. you can attempt to contact the company, who will most likely tell you they're stock lights modified. it really isn't all that hard to make two brackets to hold the signals, thats it.
to each their own, but i agree with you man lol i was looking on their site and theres a few different companies that make blinker lights and theres one company that sells non OEM lights for one of their body kits. take a look on there man and contact the store.

cool, since you didn't seem to take my helful advice into consideration at all, i'll just delete it and keep the smartass response and never help you again since you seem to only care about opinions.

Re: Dragon Z body kit

this is rapidly devolving into a flame fest...

IMHO it looks like they probably make some custom blinkers, but did you really expect a body kit to not be a pita with fitment? come on now...

Re: Dragon Z body kit

so if i had my stock blinkers custom fit, would i have to mess with the bracket for the blinker or mess with the bumper itself? because i dont want to mess with the bumper itself if i dont have to.

for all you haters of this kit, if u dont like it, i dont care. i bought a hood to go with it and it looks pretty sharp. but please dont post saying you dont like it

this is what it looks like so far. without being fully fitted or painted yet

i think your gonna have to go aftermarket wiith the blinkers, or talk to andy's about what they used...

and sorry to flame but jesus ****(idk what else to say) have fun with the hood comments later today, if you though the body kit comments were bad enough just wait

Re: Dragon Z body kit

Come on guys, yes I know you posted help, but then you also say OMFG THAT **** IS UGLY! (not in those exact words)

Some of you are the SAME people that respond to the posts "do you like my..." "what do you guys think of this..." saying "It doesn't matter what WE think of it, if you like it then get it! Don't base your car around what everyone else thinks you should do to it"

Lighten up on him, he's new. I haven't seen the newbies post the great comments like "this site is so much better than those other guys" in awhile.

I personally don't like the kit too much, but I'm interested in seeing the finished product.

And to the person(s) who said what's with everyone putting kits on their cars lately...Where have you been seeing this? All I see is JDM this, MUGEN that, lip kit this.

Re: Dragon Z body kit

this is why i didnt buy a kit. Blinkers wont fit so it wouldnt be street legal. many kits are like this. also why did u pick that kit.. you shoulda got a more subtle one that still looks somewhat like the stock body but just enhances it.

Re: Dragon Z body kit

USUALLY THE FIRST THREAD POSTED BY A NEW MEMBER
WILL GO IN THE INTRODUCTION SECTION. NOT A GOOD START TO YOUR NEW
LIFE HERE IN THE ZONE. GO BACK AND START OVER IN THAT SECTION.

Well after reading this and looking at the pic with the hood and kit....
I can predict how long it will be before it gets painted.......NEVER !!!

From reading this thread, the OP sounds like the type of Civic owner
we all know and love. As soon as the UPS man dropped off the kit,
it went straight out of the box to on the car. And we all know what
will happen after that.

He is gonna drive with it on for months on end, telling everyone "Im
gonna take it to the paint shop after I get some money saved." And
when it never happens, there are gonna be lots of excuses flying.

So with that said.....the kit you chose did make me throw up in my
mouth abit, and the hood looks like a couple of jumps that might be
used in the X-games for midgets. Then to top it all off, you installed
it unpainted...............Go push it over a cliff. You just made 90% of
the Lude owners on here want to cut their eyes out with a butter knife.

NO HARD FEELINGS PUMPKIN, but you are the one who will get served
on a huge plate of StirFry if you show up to any type of meet or event
with your car looking like that.

Now go ahead and insult my cars in my sig. Won't hurt my feelings. You
know why? No you don't, let me tell you. I did not put the kits on until
I was ready to paint them. I did it right the first time. Authentic Mugen
front bumper on the Lude, and Veilside Millinium full body kit and hood
on the S2000. And I will bet my left nut, that my front bumper from either
car, cost more that what you paid for your kit and hood combined.
I think I made my point clear.

Almost forgot to ask.....

Dat thing got a HEMI ?
Have a nice day !!!

Later !!!

Not trying to hate but imo that kit's lines and curves just don't flow well or match up to the lude's existing shape

People aren't hating on the body kit because it's not painted, they're just straight up hating on it. Most of these Prelude forums look down upon the body kit/show car scene...so get used to it, or go to a show car site.

Re: Dragon Z body kit

cut the guy some slack! the guy asked for help, not for everybody to criticize what he is trying to do. if he wants that body kit then so be it. help him out with his question & move on...you guys gain nothing from making fun of someone's own personal style..the dude joined the site for help, not for flaming...

just cause he's not d*ck riding everybody else by getting the same sh*t done to his car as everybody else, doesnt mean he deserves any less respect than me and you.

^Sounds like you need a 'hurt feelings report', no one's criticizing him directly

Re: Dragon Z body kit

i agree with you bles787 and same with blaze, like we've all said to others, its their car so its their choice. i really think most of us arent hating on jaybob himself, just the body kit and thats it. personally, i dislike it and most kits ive seen for the 5th gen prelude, but to each their own.

i did try helping him, i looked on the site that he got the kit from and like i said, i saw one set of lights that was made for another kit on there, so the best way for him to figure out his question is to EMAIL the company/store and ask them how they put the lights on there. they dont look like stock lights or if they are, hes got to make a new bracket to hold them in. thats basically the only answer jaybob is going to get here because none of us have that kit nor probably was looking at it.

so to sum this rant up:

-ya we should stop flaming him
-its his choice so let it end at that
-EMAIL THE COMPANY/STORE FOR A REAL ANSWER, we dont have the kit and without a close up picture, we cant tell exactly if its stock lights, aftermarket, or a new bracket
