Re: painting car

White is a the cheapest paint you can get. I would say go with a caddy pearl its very very cheap for a pearl paint job. Anything white would bring that hood and rims out great. Hell if you lived here in wisconsin i would beable to do it for about a grand if not cheaper and have it come out very nice lol. But one thing if you do go with the caddy peral make sure its not a yellow tint lol Anything else you wanna know?

Re: painting car

i saw the ass of that s2k earlier today! (on google that is)

but i think the electronic blue pearl is getting a little overspoken. ive heard it so much i could really care less now.
but like alot of the others said i also think a blue would be good.
im not to big on colors so dont ask me for a certain blue.

Re: painting car

It's basic. You need to go to some paint stores and look at a few things and get some real prices because not a whole lot of people on here are going to be able to tell you much. I do paint and body work on a regular basis and still couldn't quote you a paint price for my life. And all shops have different prices for their labor.

Then plan to do it every year...You pay for quality, not the cost of materials. Remember that.

Oh and I'm a fan of white

How would it have cost you 900 to do it yourself? That is some high material costs dude. Is that you buying a spray gun, grinder, and air compressor too? Lol

I went to one and for a decent paintjob, rust fix (wheel wells) it would have been 2500 for red (canadian)

so ya paint is like insurance

only way to know how much it will be is go to a shop and ask
