Removing paint from headlights?

Ok so I was working on my parts car today and I realized it has some pretty decent looking (I think they're decent looking, not sure yet) one piece headlights.... but the guy i bought it from *cough* ricer *cough* painted them black, badly, I'm not sure if its just over the front, or if its the inside of the cover, but anyways... does anyone know any tricks for getting the paint off so I can use the 1 pieces on my car?

Thanks,
Marshall

Re: Removing paint from headlights?

If the paints on the inside, you'd have to heat the sealant, separate the lights, then you could probably use paint thinner or alcohol with maybe a rag or scotch brite to remove the paint

Re: Removing paint from headlights?

Wetsand or even a mild claybar would probably do the trick.
