suspension questions?

I hope this isn't in the wrong section. I am new to preludes and I have a 1993 VTEC prelude.. my question is what type of suspension does this car have? I haven't looked under it but it doesn't look familiar, is it double wishbone or multi link? Also,
I know the suspension is stock, but I've taken the car for a few laps at a local track and I keep getting a lot over steer.. shouldn't I be getting huge amounts of under steer?
Thanks for the help guys

Re: suspension questions?

Double wishbone.

If you're positive the car is 100% stock and you don't have any rear strut/sway bars, first thing I'd check is tire pressures. That could have a huge affect on over/understeer.

Re: suspension questions?

Depends on how you're driving it, too -- dive into a corner and lift off the throttle, and a Prelude will rotate just fine. And as said, tire pressures make a big difference -- if you're running rear pressures much lower than the front, it'll oversteer quite nicely.

Re: suspension questions?

it has a front and rear sway bar, but they look pretty stock to me... unless they didnt come with sway bars? other then that the car handles pretty good for being a stock heavy prelude. i will try the tire pressure trick and see how it goes, will report with the feedback. thanks in advance guys
