Re: :::Sideswipe SI::: 2004 GTO AKA "MONA"

Hope you kept the Helga motor crane box. The outside is coated. It's fluid resistant and very handy for sliding out/in from under the car.

If you didn't keep it, find ya a coated box like new axles or similar came in.

Place inside down for concrete grippage and coated side up for cotton clothing slideage.

Re: :::Sideswipe SI::: 2004 GTO AKA "MONA"

I was going to post a tirade about the Road Warrior and the parallels of owning a GTO with Driving up and down the barren wasteland of Queensland vs Escape from New york... But didnt seem fitting... No hockey mask guy with the bodies for a bumper.

But GM did us Pontiac owners dirty.
G5 GT... Gm answer to Vtec
G6 GXP... In a class by itself.
G8 GXP... Cadillac what? That thing back there. Yes, very nice.

People clamored for pontiac to be unique, GM answered, consumers didn't even test drive these new cars. Read in a magazine the editors had mixed feelings about the cars, the same people who drive $100,000+ cars on the regular. They were nice enough to bury Pontiac by saying if you can find a low mileage one used, to get it.

No El camino, 4100lb camaro, $49k 2014 SS sedan and a PPV caprice that crime fighters toss dirtbags into the rear seat everyday. New from a dealership a PPV is partially illegal to own too.

Looks like I did it anyways...

Looking foward to putting the sway bars from hotchkiss and pedders anti rub kit on soon....

Re: :::Sideswipe SI::: 2004 GTO AKA "MONA"

Anti-rub kit...is that those curb feelers Superfly had on his Lincoln? j/k!!!

Are you having fun? That's what it's all about, hockey mask or not.

Trouble I had with the GTO was it resembled the gran prix so badly.
Don't get me wrong, great car and all.

Hmm, wasn't it about that same time Honda prelude was looking like an accord so badly? No coincidence their sales numbers fell like a Hoe-why-an cliff diver.

Where I live everybody wants those Beamer M cars.

Oh having lots of fun! Just finished a romp on the Brooklyn Queens Express way to the musical stylings of powerman 5000 ..."when worlds collide"

I get sobered up when random stuff dings and scratches my car though, so she gets beat up with me lol

Yeah those random roads chunks flying into your path are a drag. But with powerman blasting, ya can't go wrong.
