Re: new suspension, steering wheel, etc

How'd you like the sway bars? I'm looking to get some for mine.

It all looks really clean

my thoughts are if you lowered a tad bit more it'd look more aggressive, but that's just my mindset, I love low

Re: new suspension, steering wheel, etc

thanks man! the sway bars made a huge difference. cornerin is so much faster and better now. car was already pretty low, like a finger gap all the way around. I actually had to raise it up because my 3" hangs so low.

very nice. i really like what you're doing with your lude. so the hardware that came with the progress bar fit those endlinks? or did you have to get new hardware too? i'm in the market for some new endlinks. the ones 71DSP made for me are starting to make noise.

thank you sir. i actually got the progress bar used off ebay, so i dont know anything about their hardware. i just went to home depot, got bolts that were long enough, a few lock washers and few regular washers. they still havent loosened up one bit

well, I'd probably just get coilovers if you can afford it. something where you can adjust the dampening. but I just like that option. you'll see the most improvement in a larger rear sway bar. I probably wouldn't get a new front sway bar, I've heard people say they don't like how it handles with both upgraded. I only did my front because I have a progress and it has 3 different settings. strut tower bars make minimal difference.

Re: new suspension, steering wheel, etc

which coilovers would be the best for the prelude then? are there any disadvantages to the koni yellow and ground control set-up? my goal is to make my lude a handling beast. the epitome of function over form. i dont need it to have the lowest offset widest rims or the lowest ride height.

Re: new suspension, steering wheel, etc

a few brands that come to mind are the tein super streets, the function form type 2 or 2.5, bc racing coilovers. you can go with your setup, i just like how i dont have to put anything together before i put them in lol

What front strut tower are you using and how do you like it? I can't seem to find anything aside from Tanabe and Megan. I was going to be getting a Tanabe.

Just now saw this thread, but everything is looking good as always. I love your Lude's stance; it's functional yet aggressive.

This was exactly my experience with my F&F Type 1s. Sometimes I wish they were a little firmer, but I would think an overly firm suspension would get old fast on a daily driver. F&Fs are good compromise between comfort and sportiness IMO.
