Re: progress on my 96 si

It's good to see you taking initiative and making it the way you want it. It's cleaner than it was to begin with, and that's always a good thing. I'm not a big fan of the black wheels but to each his own. Keep up the good work bud.

Re: progress on my 96 si

Yeah I've never liked the black rims. They clash with the tires. But either way any progress is good progress.

Re: progress on my 96 si

I actually AM a big fan of black rims...however I think they looked REALLY clean before...now they look like steelies. I think for black rims to look good they usually need to be fairly big and have something that sets them off and contrasts, like a nice centercap or polished lip. Just my opinion though.

I think it looked best in the second pic.

Yeah I would go to a junkyard and test fit some.

It looks like it should use the same as mine, 2.5" diameter, civic/accord caps.

Re: progress on my 96 si

I didn't like the wheels UNTIL you painted them black and I like the updated vtec sticker. If you already have new wheels then next I think you should drop it. It looks clean good job.

Re: progress on my 96 si

Looks great, love the painted rims. For future use, it is much easier if you just use some index cards instead of taping the tires
