New Mod and an Epic Fail(for neck)

Okay sooooo a few weeks ago i was putting on my front lip. I had no idea what kind of lip it was or anything and never researched and was just going to wing it with my dad.... Turns out that was a terrible idea and we were both extremely retarded that day.

To cut to the chase i had to buy a new lip and i painted it myself and installed it. It is a WWRS replica so it wasn't a perfect fit, had to force it a lil on the one side so it slightly sticks out but i still think it looks good.

Let me know what you think.

Okay okay... and now the epic fail pic. Honestly this is hard for me to post because you have no idea how ****ing stupid i felt after doing this. . . but im posting it for neck(you asshole ) haha here it is.

Lip looks really nice! Your car is coming along! Man u put the lip on upside down at first. I have the same lip. I'ts actually a buddy club replica lip. Buddy club discontinued it though. I think it looks better than a wwrs lip by far!

yeah i put it on upside and ruined it and had to buy a new one haha. oh really? looks just like the WWRS and it said it was a Type RS lip so i figured replica of the Wings West RS.

For the lugs i used caliper paint, yeah its possible but if you take your wheels off alot i wouldnt recommend it cause it will start to peel, im just really careful when doing it though.

and thanks, yeah the car actually is lowered but i think the stock rims dont help but im going to work on lowering it more in the next few weeks.

Yeah, they do sort of look alike. But the bottoms are different. The wwrs lip is flat at the bottom, and yours flares out! Yours looks much better though! And the replicas sell for like 90 bucks. Pretty pricey, but nice looking lip!

Re: New Mod and an Epic Fail(for neck)

looks great man.

don't worry about neck, there was a time where he didn't know much about his own lude. He just put a lot of time and effort into working on his own car and knows more than most now.

I've yet to get my hands all that dirty working on my own car. You get an A for effort and an A+ for puting your mistakes out there for us to have a laugh.

everyonee thanks so much for the compliments and everything :) yeah i learn alot of things in my life from trial and error :p.

Also to everyone or whoever asking about the lugs. what i mean by being careful is make sure the lug wrench or whatever is lined up perfectly with the lug nut before turning it at all to reduce any scraping of the paint but also yeah if i do happen to scrape paint after a while i just throw a quick coat on.

Hahaha Neck!

Looks good mate. And tbh, I think it actually looked better upside down. Pity it didn't work like that though.

you liked it upside down? lol. we just put screws in it when we did it wrong and for some reason having to cut about 6 inches off each side of the lip when it was made for my car didn't ring a bell to me or my dad then afterwards i realized it was wrong.

a lug gun would most likely peel that paint off. i never go to mechanics tho cause i do everything myself. Just experiment dude, thats all i did, i wanted to see if it works and the paints been on there for like 2 months now.

awwww, that kinda made me tear up

but nahhh, learning from your mistakes is def the best way to learn. like for me, i learned that motors need oil
and now 3 years later, i have hysterical story's to tell everyone
after I posted that I thought it might piss you off, but then I realized that you are not as hot headed as some

would one of those lessons be actuallly having a motor for a swap when you have a friend from NY and a friend from Delaware drive to new jersey to help you perform said swap?

Re: New Mod and an Epic Fail(for neck)

yes sir the tread on tires were designed to go one way for traction purposes

if you like the way it looks now i strongly recommend rotating the tires the right way.
