Did some work, got some new mods :)

Okay well i got 2 new mods!

One is i just got my windows tinted, 5% in rear and 50% on the front sides.

Also ive been wanting to try to do this for a while so i painted the OEM side lips on my lude red!

These pics are from my second day of doing it, i didnt think of taking pics the first day and i also ran out of paint and advanced auto discontinued it so i had to order some

oh and yeah i may have over done it with covering up my lude but i just wanted to be careful lol.

anywayyy here they are lemme know what you think.

man, you should have taken off those sideskirts before you painted them
when ever you do a paint job, never try to do it the "easyest" way

1. do you think it looks bad then? im just wondering i want opinions on how it looks not what you think i should've done.

2. i tried to take it off but my car being 15 years old the screws woulda broke and it never woulda went back on. when i buy a new side lip then ill jjust rip it off.

3. shops prefer to paint stuff when they are on the car already so i figured why not too. well thats what this really large collision auto shop told me at least.

Yea number 2 and 3 are both untrue. Anyway, they look pretty good, what kind of paint did you use? And did you car just not come with a front lip or something?

the sideskirts look good, but u should take them off and get the front edge by the wheel well better, other than that it looks good

It's hard to tell, is the paint exact match? In terms of runs in the paint it looks really good.

it came with one but i got in an accident and got a new front bumper. im putting my new lip on hopefully next week. and yeah the only way i could get the screws out was to break them, they wouldnt unscrew at all.
and thats what the shop around here that fixed my car said. Its a big shop and they did an excellent paint job when they fixed me car after my accident.

in person it looks practically perfect match. its the milano red paint by dupli-color which is suppose to be a factory match. of course theres no clear coat or anything on it.
