Great job! Paint looks great. Nice choice in mods. Any more plans even though you already did enough? LOL

Re: Turtle No Vtech :(

Thanks man! At the moment not really anything more i'd like to do to it. The water pump needs to be replaced, so i'll prolly pull the engine and work on the bay/engine. Just clean it up some. Would like to throw some wrinkle red on the valve cover. I'd like to make it a project car one day, but i want to get the Prelude done before that, so this is just a mpg whore in the mean time rofl. I was originally thinking B series, but starting to lean towards a k20a with some boost

im not concerned with blowing anybody anyway. the reason for wanting a b but now thinking of a k is just to expand my knowledge on the engines

i love my replica parts lol. i thought the duckbill was just gonna be a black fiberglass one. im pretty sure its fiberglass but it has the cf weave in it. the next shoot i'll get more details of things like that

then throw a b18c in there and boost, cheaper and will still pull very strong. k20s are just very expensive, but unless you have money to blow then who am i to help ya?

b18c is an option, but seeing how k's are newer i'd almost rather go that route. and your helping me how? picking an engine b/c it'll blow others away? why do any of us drive fwd hondas if were so concerned with blowing others away. i pick what i pick and do what i do b/c i love it. to me the experience and knowledge is so much more than a race

I feel like im right back in highschool with that statement rofl. I just said i wanted to expand my knowledge. And considering K is newer than the B i feel that would almost be best in that sense

Well I'm sorry you feel that way. I was simply stating from my knowledge of cars around here a better performing motor would be a built LS/Vtec or an H2b. Just my 2cents, its your car dude, wasnt trying to argue with you or any bull****. so best of luck, i'll leave it at that.

An LSvtec would be something i wouldn't mind doing. The h2b i don't want to do simply b/c im doing it with the lude . I mean a b isn't out of the picture totally. Im all for some kind of "hybrid" build, i am doing the H23vtec on the lude. Doing the LSvtec would fit with what i got going on

Re: Turtle No Vtech :(

a k series would be a good learning experience. chain driven, backwards from the b and h, and i vtec...also the fact that they are dropping in price finally

Re: Turtle No Vtech :(

k-series is still expensive and really not worth it IMO. once it gets down to around b-series prices 3-4 years ago then it'll be feasible but until then i would just rock the b-series. its a direct bolt into that chassis and it requires minimal wiring to get rolling. not to mention its about 10% of the cost of a k-swap after you take into account EVERYTHING that is involved. where as the b-series is a simply plug-n-play job that can be done in 2 days.

the best bang for your buck is the b18c1. rock solid motor and if you leave it alone (stock internals) it'll run forever, and with basic bolt-ons dropped into the right chassis will fly.

Re: Turtle No Vtech :(

well this wouldn't happen for a while. i still have school to finish and the prelude to do so there is time for the price to drop to some degree. the custom part of the swap is appealing to me. hence for h2b in the lude

Very nice EG, nicely repaired, I would have gone with something different rather than the Slip's but it's pretty damn nice overall!

Re: Turtle No Vtech :(

lol. i've always wanted a pair of slips but just never did. i almost got slips over c10's on the lude but didnt. then thought about buying a set of slips for a second pair of wheels for the lude but didnt. then i ended up buying the eg for a beater and though perfect, this is getting slips no matter what lol. i appreciate the compliments!
