Nusdogg 1994 EX

My dad bought this car back in '98 and drove it ever since. The car died in '04 ish. With the small amount of money I had, I bought a used F22B1 again and my dad's buddy got the motor in after a few weeks. Then in '05, he gave it to me. I started modding it and what not.

Then right after my graduation of '05, I got myself an IS300 5spd. Drove that for almost a year and totalled it. Went back to the Accord and started to work on it again and what not. In '08, I decided to buy another used low mileage F22B1. I didn't just drop that motor in right away; I had parts ordered up for it while it's semi apart. I ordered Bisi Level 2 VTEC cam, F23A1 IM, Skunk2 cam gear, I/H/E tuned on Hondata S100 P28 chip ECU. The ECU was tuned for my setup in Cali while I'm in MN, so I never really have the chance to strap it onto the roller to see how much power it really puts out. But we guesstimated that it puts out 140whp though. It took me almost two months to complete the engine and drop it in(during winter). After that swap, I wanted more power out of my Accord. With that being said, I scratched out what I had and ordered myself a JDM H22A.

So I did the JDM H22A swap using my old F22 5spd trans. Car was too slow with the long gears, and I went with a JDM F20B Blue Top T2T4 LSD trans. Now, the car pulls alot faster with shorter gears. I built the head during the summer of 2010 and had it tuned by FullBlown here in MN, and it made 187whp. I knew something wasn't right. LJ said my car needs a Skunk2 IM which I doubt it, and so I went ahead and bought myself the Hytech Replica Header with a 2.5" collector to replace the crappy Egay header I had on there. So, I went to MAPerformance this time to get it tuned, and it made 200whp/156wtq on the dynojet which I was really happy cause that was my goal.

Hoping for 208-210whp on my next dyno&tune session!

I didn't do just the clutch. I was gonna install a new tranny that I thought was a "M2A4 trans" cause thats what the seller told me, but I found out that its not even "M2A4 trans" and it came off from the F22A Prelude due to where the tranny mount studs are located on the tranny housing & there's no extra hole for me to drill & tap to move the stud so I can use my existing mount. So with that being said, I had to re-used my F22B2 5spd trans at that time.

Also, it was easier for me and the bolts that hold the intermediate shaft are super hard to turn, so there's no way I'm laying under the car for an hour just trying cranking those bolts out and there's not enough room to fit an impact gun under there to zip them off. So I had the motor out which was easier.

Thanks man.

It's '96 JDM H22A engine; plus, the third pictures tells you that the throttle cable goes to the RHD side. The JDM H22A, H22A1, and H22A4 engines don't come with red VC; black only. Only the Euro R H22A7, ATR H22, and H22 Type S comes with red VC.

Update on my S2 TB, it all worked out great! I also installed my EGR valve block-off plate I got from Rosko and you can see that I installed my S2 TB:

I just sent out my S2 TB & Upper plenum to get portmatched by Rosko today. Ordered up my Blacktrax IAB delete IM spacer; my topend will scream!! :D

I ran the S2 TB and it ran nice. Gas pedal was stiffer than OEM TB, and its a bit responsive. At this moment, I took the S2 TB & upper IM plenum off and had it sent out to be portmatched. So I'll be getting them back within two weeks.

I was suppose to be installing a new used tranny as well. When I bought it the guy had a picture of it to prove that it is an M2A4 tranny. But when I received the tranny, its totally different, and there's no tranny code sticker. When I went to install it, the tranny mount & stud mount locations are different. So, that tells me its a F22Ax prelude tranny with the pwr steering hoses coming off the VSS. There's no way that I can mount that tranny inside the chasis; it'll bolt up, but it won't fit in the car. So i abandoned the tranny and reused my old F22. I was really mad man. I lost $400.00 for nothing, and a month later I sold the trans to some kid for only 1/3 of the cost. :(

Yup will do. Give japanesestarmotor.com a call. They have some M2A4 trans for around $500.00-$600.00 free shipping. They also have T2T4 LSD trans for around $900-$1000.00 free shipping as well.

I bought both my H22 & T2T4 LSD trans from them all free shipping, and they have very good customer services.
