you know you love it!

Here she is ladies and gentlemen... The new 2009 wrx with an underrated 265 hp and 241 ft lbs... Dyno results show over 230 hp 270 ft lbs AT THE WHEEL!

She is fast running mid and low 13's with whoever as a driver all day stock...

The cornering blows my old lude away even with her eiboch reds strut bars tociko blues and hankooks... Roads that were white knuckle with the lude at 65 seem almost boring in the wrx at 75+

Re: you know you love it!

Yea I love IT

but hate you.

How much that bad mofugger run you? What did the final price come to, and what are your payments at a month? I'd guess somewhere in the 400-500 range if not WAY more.

**EDIT**

Those wheels look to small for it though. Something looks wrong there. Get some new shoes for it. Or drop it.

Re: you know you love it!

Im under 400 and thats with the extended 100k warranty.... the wheels are 17's... she doesn't really need to be dropped the motor sits almost between the two wheels for a LOW LOW LOW center of gravity.. making turns stupid easy...

Wow under 400? What kind of down payment did you put on that? Unless your credit score is 750+ or the car is under 20k (which I don't believe it is)

and I dunno but those wheels in the third pic... they look ... small, I guess.

couldnt agree more.... I think they look nice in pictures at least the sti's... but in person they look like little lexus suv's... The rear ends are so ugly and I have the tendency to like hatches

I dont know about the new fast and furious movie using the hatch as the feature car... they should have used my 4 door

Yeah its the "revised grill".. Its actually part of whats called the areo kit.. Which is the spoiler ground effects under spoilers front and rear and the grill... In 08 you had to pay for this option but now it comes standard on all the 09's...

The sad part is this model wrx beats the sti in the 0-60 time and is only 10ths of a second behind in quarter mile times with a trap speed of less then 2 mph behind the sti..

Subaru underrated the power of the 09 so people could still justify buying the sti for close to 8-10 grand more...

Much nicer than the stationwagons.
I might pick one of these up next year now that 've seen one. I'll be in the market for a new car.

Re: you know you love it!

34k !?!?!?!?!?!? thats a little much man... was it all stock? Even the premium models are only like 28 and thats on the high end.... A base should only be around 24-25..... STI's start out at 32 or so...

The Premium I built on the Subaru site last night was still under $29K with all the options I added. I wouldn't buy one if I couldn't get it under $25K out the door though.

I was looking at an 08 that I could have gotten over 4000 under invoice (around 18)... but the 08s are turds with only 230 hp and a tiny turbo....

This 09 was well worth the money... Only thing im missing from the premium is the moon roof and navigation...

I do miss my moon roof from the prelude though... I gotta get one put in the Subaru...

I'm getting rid of the moonroof in my Lude so I won't miss it in a Premium.
