Intake Installed.

UPDATED:

Random cat pics. My fat ass orange cat, and my black evil bitch cat.

After tossing everything out of the engine bay:

Click for larger...lot larger.

Painted Side Skirts

Injen Short Ram intake.

Lil bastard took me 4 hours cause I wasn't sure whether to take the air control diaphragm out...
I also painted my side skirts the same color as my car. I'll have pics of that soon. Sounds nice... I have a crappy camera though so there's no point in recording unless I'm doing a drive by type thing. Might give it a try.

I love it. Love the sound when I rev the engine. I've noticed a tiny bit better acceleration.

If that's a remark related to my wheels, get off it.
I'm looking for new ones. Those were on it when I got it, and I can't afford new wheels right on the spot at the moment.

no, he's talking about the resonator for the intake which you need to take the front bumper off to get to.

I wasn't referring to the intake resonator. I know what it is.
Doesn't matter. Should it be removed anyhow?

yes you should remove the resonator. it will increase airflow/allow cooler air in!

How would I go about doing this? I could only find a tutorial for the 5th gen resonator.

Shutting it off sounds crazy lol
I love the sound when I'm revving it from 4k RPM to 7/8.

Re: Intake Installed.

[QUOTE=Red93Lude;236269]How would I go about doing this? I could only find a tutorial for the 5th gen resonator.

when i did my intake:
1. remove passenger wheel
2. unscrew half of the bolts from the wheel well(the ones closer to the front bumper). if extra room is needed, unscrew a few of the bolts from the splash guard(the plastic guard) underneath the front bumper.
3. when you peel back the well, you should see the resonator box, held in by three(?) bolts. two of which are easy to reach and one where you may want a wobbler to reach. also peel off the rubber seal around that hole that is under your air filter to loosen the resonator.
4. when you manage to work the resonator out, make sure to bolt the splash guard back up along with the wheel well.
5. retorque the wheel!!!

those are my terrible instructions for resonator removal, hope they help:questionmark:

when i did my intake:
1. remove passenger wheel
2. unscrew half of the bolts from the wheel well(the ones closer to the front bumper). if extra room is needed, unscrew a few of the bolts from the splash guard(the plastic guard) underneath the front bumper.
3. when you peel back the well, you should see the resonator box, held in by three(?) bolts. two of which are easy to reach and one where you may want a wobbler to reach. also peel off the rubber seal around that hole that is under your air filter to loosen the resonator.
4. when you manage to work the resonator out, make sure to bolt the splash guard back up along with the wheel well.
5. retorque the wheel!!!

those are my terrible instructions for resonator removal, hope they help:questionmark:
You serious? That's ridiculous.
