skunk 2 springs are more of an aggressive drop, thats what i rock.

those wheels look alot better now that you are sittin closer to the ground.

oh and this goes in the auto showoff section but im sure a mod will move it for you.

Re: 92civiclx's finally lowered

haha i forgot you have had the black and red.

thats kinda what i was thinking, but not for sure on my final choice.

i know they do look a lot better. i just hated the silver of the whels and the silver of the car, it clashed to much. and i looked for days and pretty much the only color that looks good with my car is black lol

i would think it looks good as long as he keeps that theme throughout the car.

or just all matte black would look good to, but then they would almost look like a larger version of the slips.

So would you recommend having just their lowering springs or would you recommend the coilover kit from Skunk 2? Just wondering cause I have heard stories that coilovers ruin suspensions.

i havent had any experience with their coilovers so i dono. a friend had them on his crx and it blew his factory struts within a couple of months. i have been runnin the skunk2 springs since june and havent run into a problem. i dont plan on going to coilovers, just plan on getting some performance stuts sometime early next year. the skunk 2 springs are the perfect drop in my opinion.

I almost bought a SH dropped 2 in with 18" Hart Racing wheels I think he was running 215 45R18's no camber at all. It didn't rub on me while test driving it but I'd say a good enough bump and hell yeah.

Looks good - but I still think there needs to be some contrast between the tire and rims...thats just my personal opinion, I have never been a fan of the "time attack" look tho, so that's probably why

wow the black looks so much better. and i kinda like how everything blends in as far as the tires and rims go.

the springs are rated at a 2.00-2.25 drop. those are 17's with 215/45 tires and yes i do need a camber kit severely. i am 1.5 degrees out in the front and 3.5 out in the back. nothing rubs though.

it has minor photoshop for touchups on the paint but nothing else. and i dont understand how those 18's didnt rub with that thick of a tire.
