I've replaced the fuel pump b/c it was getting power but no fuel, replaced the main relay too. Yesterday I could turn the key on, hear the clicks and the fuel pump but it wouldn't push any fuel to the filter. I pulled the line off and put it in a bottle and cranked the engine, no fuel in the bottle so I'm thinking some type of fuel related issue DUH!. Anybody have a clue as to what other relays or something may be the problem? I have a 91 Si 4WS I'm trying to get on the road here.
Thanks
Jason

its deffinately the main relay... my dads 3rd gen did it last night, he is a mechanic and i go.. check the main relay.. hes like, wheres that, i pointed to the general area... changed it, started right up.... or what you could do in the mean time while you wait for the part is hit the general area which is under the steering wheel area. but i don't know what to tell you if you replaced the main relay. Maybe it is the sending unit, which is right behind the back seat under the cloth.

New main relay guys, can't be it. I actually pulled three of them out of the salvage yards too before I bought the new one from the dealer. None of them did anything. Funny thing though, yesterday I replaced the relay and I could hear all of the needed clicks and the fuel pump but when I tried starting the car (I pulled the fuel line off at the filter and put it in a bottle so I could to check if it was getting fuel and nothing) still nothing happened. I can get it to start with starting fluid but for some reason I'm not getting any fuel.
I'm going to pull the line off of the top of the tank tonight to see if I'm getting fuel out which would mean a clog/kink somewhere I'm guessing from the tank to the filter.

It will fire if I spray some starting fluid in there but for some reason I am not getting any fuel to the engine. I've replaced the necessary parts but I can't figure out the problem. I don't want to tow it to a shop and pay them but I'm getting a bit upset that I can't figure it out.

does it sound like it wants to start but won't????

It's acting strange. I had it towed to a guy that only works on Acura and Honda cars so he'll get to figure it out before I get too frustrated and do something stupid like sell it or something. I'll post what he finds out though.

Well the mechanic fixed it. He pulled the pump assembly out and the Bosch fuel pump sock had broken (two piece design and for some freaking reason whatever is used to hold the two pieces together failed) and the pump wasn't working properly (I think he said not enough fuel pressure). So, I exchanged the parts (warranty) and he installed the new stuff and guess what, IT RUNS! It's got some older, nasty gas left in it to run out and I'm going to tune it up next but I'm happy it's running. Next is to take it to the body shop so they can fix the minor damage to it and I'll start driving it and saving for a nice paint job.

I could've save some money pulling it all out myself I guess but this guy is pretty cool and knows his stuff. Any Honda/Acura guys near Miamisburg, Ohio I would recommend Acu/Hon for any of your car needs.

Thanks for all of your guys help.
