I don't know much about internal engine work so bare with me on this. I was thinking of getting some domed Mahle pistons w/ 9.0:1 comp ratio for boost because I don't have the cash to sleeve the block. I would have to ditch the factory ECU and run something like a AEM EMS correct? Or could I use something like Emanage Ultimate?

IMO..... I don't see the need for AEM EMS if you don't have an all out racing car. Besides It's way out of the league of prenty of tuners. Thats just my opinion.

The Emanage Ulimate is good and in some ways better than even hondata. If you need reasurance of anything or need help answering any questions just AIM me man. "TopLude" MSN is also "TopLude"

You can also read my writeup on how to build a N/A H22:
Go down to the section where I talk about tuning. Tuning both boost and N/a are pretty similar in many ways.

read the section about tuning and if you have any questions feel free to ask man...

A new tune would be necessary on the new compression. Just to warn you, the car will run sluggishly until you get boost, so wait as long as possible to install them.

Thanks guys. My plan is to wait and install both the new slugs and the turbo kit at the same time, or at least do the turbo first.
