I want to put a new brake system on my Prelude. Instead of buying an over priced brake kit, I was going to piece it together myself.

I'd rather do that then pay $500-$1000 extra for some company to do it for me.

In order to do that, I need to know the stock specs for a 94 SI. (distance to mounting surface to the face of the rotor, rotor offset, all that jazz.

HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Then I'll show pics and details of what I've done so we can ALL save $1000.

Does anyone know where on the internet I can find the specs?

I saw a big brake powerslot kit, rotor and bracket for caliper for about 500$, front only I think though, but u could snag rear rotors cheap, also could snag 2 wilwood calipers for about 150$ each, comes to like 800$ but that's a nice ass brake setup, ill post pics of mine tonight before i leave for this shore, it should be done tonight, just an oem slot/drill with pads and s/s lines.

Go to a junkyard, find a VTEC model, take the whole brake assembly off, and it bolts right on and BAM you got 11 inch rotors. I got a 94 Si as well and this is my plan.

jesse - thanks man, but can this apply for the 4th gen?

SI - you think it'll have the stopping power i need for a turbo'd application?

braided brake lines + powerslot rotors + oem pads + oem calipers = pretty damn good stopping
