Alrighty, here we go. First off, let me say that I only did my Cruise and my sunroof buttons, but the dimmer is the exact same process.

What you need:

A flat head screwdriver (For removing the button cluster, and removing the bulbs.)
3 LED bulbs (Mine came from http://autolumination.com/74.htm. scroll down, their almost in the middle of the page. Neo - Wedge LED Instrument Panel Bulbs - Type A)
A small Phillips head screwdriver (For removing the buttons.)

<(First Step)>
Use your flat head to CAREFULLY pry the button cluster out, there are four clips that hold it in place. (Circled in red)

It is very possible that it won't come easy, but try working one side then the other.

<(Step Two)>
Remove the three plugs from the back of the cluster. Try to keep them in order from side to side so you don't confuse which gets plugged into which.

<(Step Three)>
There are 6 screws, two to each button. Remove them and the buttons will slide right out.

<(Step Four)>
These are what your bulbs should look like:

Now take the Cruise button, take a screwdriver and twist the blue based bulb untill you can remove it. Replace the bulb with your new one.

<(Step Five)>
Now the sunroof. Same process, replace the bulb.

<(Step Six)>
And now for the dimmer... (Which I didn't do..)

<(Step Seven)>
After you've finished replacing the bulbs, take the buttons out to your car and plug them on to the harness individually and make the sure you have the polarities of the bulbs right. Turn on your headlights and check if your sunroof, etc... light up. If they don't, remove the bulb and rotate it 180. After you've checked all the buttons and they all light up, re-insert the buttons into the plastic trim peice, then replug the harness. Then push the trim peice back into place.... and your DONE!!!!

Hope this helps!
(Rep is appreciated!)

Good write up, thanks. I'm want to get all of my bulbs from www.superbrightleds.com and I'm having trouble finding these bulbs on their website. Are they any of these? http://superbrightleds.com/specs/74_t15.htm

I wish I would have done this mod when I had taken this unit out to install my EDFC.

The only problem, Superbrightleds.com doesn't make these bulbs.

I was afraid you'd say that. Thanks.

I just finished this mod also, the pics are below. If you want to change the color of the cruise control "on" light you have to get a 4th bulb, it's the same one as the others by the way.

The buttons look identical to a 4th gen is there any difference or will this work for a 4g also?
