The time has come, I am looking at throwin a turbo on the prelude and I could use some help. I have parts already but i need more. I kinda know what im missing, but if i could get some help and you guys list what else i would need the help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the list:
COMES WITH:

- Turbo
- Intercooler
- Intercooler piping
- Turbo Manifold
- Manual Boost Controller
- Slim Fan
- Electric Turbo Timer
- 38mm Wastegate
- Blow Off Valve
- Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Oil Catch Can
- All necessary flanges and bolts

NEED TO BUY:

- Turbo Boost Gauge
- Oil Pressure Gauge
- Turboback Exhaust
- 3” Inlet and 3.5” Outlet muffler tip
- T3/T4 Oil Lines
- ECU Chip – WHICH ONE?!?!
- MORE STUFF I KNOW IM MISSING!!!! PLEASE HELP

Im not planning any huge horsepower gains for this motor, im waiting until i get my next motor with way less miles and in better condition for that, so this kit will be put on my stock motor, so no fuel injectors or compression lowering or anything like that, the kit is made for a stock motor with no internals but can also be used with a built engine (which comes later).

Thanks for your help!

haha, unless you feel like blowing your car up at startup, your going to NEED bigger injectors. think about it, more air = more fuel. your also going to need a walbro 255 fuel pump.
if your on a stock engine and are gonna stay at the 6-8 psi, your not gonna need the boost controller, nor a new exhaust. sure you'll get some more power from a new exhaust but its not a CRUCIAL item that you need immediatley. dont really need a FPR either.

and you dont need an ECU chip, you need a new ECU. you can get one from either phearable, xenocron, or some other places, but they're just going to put a basemap onto it which is only safe to drive on temporarily. you NEED to get it tuned if you want this sucker to last long.

i'd recommend getting the oil line kit from stealthmodeperformance.com.

im getting it tuned from a place near me called RS Motors and having my buddy build me the turboback for cheap, and since he works at RS im gonna have him put on the turboback when i take it in to get it tuned. What confused me is that when i talked to the guy about the kit he said that i didnt need to upgrade the fuel injectors, which would be the FIRST thing i would think of when turbo'ing a car besides lowering the compression from the 10:1

they prolly want you to run a FMU which is basically the worst fuel management system out there. all it does is raise the the fuel pressure on STOCK injectors per pound of boost you run. its a very unreliable system to run, and with the very cheap prices of chipped ECU's nowadays, its a no brainer with what engine management you should use.

you should also find out what program they're qualified to tune with, crome, hondata, neptune, ectune, etc etc.
if they insist on using a Fuel Management Unit, walk out the door, unless you want car go boom.

I suppose i should have specified. The guy I bought the other parts from said that it would run on all the stock motor parts, NOT the people at RS motors. But I figured I wasn't gonna listen to him anyways, which is why im on here getting a full parts list. I am gonna have my buddy check out which programs they can run with and then go from there. Thanks alot for your help man

obviously the guy you bought the stuff from is gonna tell you that you don't need to buy anything else to run the turbo, cuz he just wants you to buy his kit
now is it SAFE to run only what is included with what he is selling you? thats the question you gotta ask.

The parts are good, the welding is great and everything is perfect, He gave me about half the stuff i needed, but in the process of buying the kit i already knew i needed more, it was just a matter of figuring out what
