ok every time i clean my rims with my wheel cleaner it only stays shiny for about 3 days... they get really dirty after that....do u think it is because of the inner tire gettin wet n while moving it slides to the outer part that i have cleaned? my rims are MB motorsport drifters.... i dont think they r suppose to be chrome so that may be why...but its gettin to the point were i might paint them balck...how do u guys also think of the black rim look?

Some brake pads make lots of dust. Do you know what kind are on there?
Black and sliver look amazing together. If you get them painted black get them powder coated.

Are they just not styaing shiny, or are they dirty again after three days?
I know with mine that I need to give them a good clean every week or they dont' stay gold.

well it could be the brake pads, I had a problem with my rear left rim always being dirty and it was a seized caliper, I think black looks sick Im getting my sh rims powdercoated black

some pads don't put out as much dust as others. I have very expensive HAWK pads that put out more dust than any other pads I've used. OEM honda pads put out a LOT less brake dust than most others. Ceramic FTW.

yeah very funny...no they are made from a special chemical which stops the brake dust particles from sticking to your alloys..plus they have excellent stopping power but are quick wearing..they probably will cost you about $100
