Back in May of 2005 I was 18 and sick of my 91 Accord, it was too slow and I was just over it. So I did some research and settled on the 5th gen prelude. I originally wanted a 5 spd but after looking at many ragged out 5 spds I decided to go with this NBP 1997 automatic base model. The car came with 17" Enkei wheels and some chrome euros and was previously owned by a girl in her late 20's. The obvious first thing that had to go was the taillights so i waited on a good deal and bought a set of stockies for 100 on eBay. As soon as they got to the house i cleared the bottom half and slapped them on. It totally changed the look of the car for me. Soon after i picked up an Apex'i N1 cat-back and a set of 18's. In the summer of 2006 the transmission started slippin, so i opted for a 5 spd swap. The swap costed me 3000 bucks including everything with a Competition stage 2 clutch kit. That may seem kind of expensive but it was worth every penny. It made me fall in love with this car even more. From there the modifications took off. AEM V2 Intake, UR crank pulley, Type S Valve Cover, P13 ECU, GReddy lip and it just keeps goin. This past year my intentions for this car have totally changed. This happened when I took my car for the first time to Deal's Gap. At first I wanted to do a full motor build and get 300 whp N/A. But after that trip I just want to do a mild build for around 230 whp and just build the crap out of my suspension. It is soo much more fun to go fast through curves than it is in a straight line. Within this past year i down sized to 17's which is amazing, put an OEM lip on it (Wings West RS in the works), carbon fiber hood, and did the retrofits which i am the most proud of. One of my friends helped me do this that had done a number of Accord retros. I got a really good deal on some S2K AP1 projectors and then got some TSX shrouds just to keep it in the Honda family. This car has consumed me, my family, my girlfriend and all of my friends. My love for this car has grown so much that somebody asked me if i would rather own an FD than my BB6 and i said no. I plan on owning this car the rest of my life.

The list of all my mods are one my member's rides page too many to list. http://preludezone.com/showthread.php?t=1910

You have no idea how jealous i am of your car. So there's hope for me yet. First things first, I wanna do a tranny swap but having trouble with finding what I need and where to find them. HELP!!!
