Pretty clean man, you should mount the amp to the box to make it look cleaner, and zap strap the wires

No you shouldnt mount the amp to the box. That can lead to premature eja...failure. Seriously the vibration from enclosure make small fragile solder joints fail. If anything mount it to the back of the seat leaving enough from for the seat to fold, if you fold it down. From the pics it looks like 8 ga. Is that correct? If so you really should be running that amp off of 4 ga. The Rockford amps are pretty power hungry. Nice set up tho. Rockfords new gen of woofers are pretty sweet. They seem to be engineered alot better.

i heard it distorts the sound if you attach ur amp to ur box...so maybe ill just let it sit there...but who knows...as for the wires yeah....im planning on it..just had to snap some quick pics

Did you guys bolt your boxes down, doesn't the box move around when you take a corner

sounds like you guys should get married

but nah nice setup yo.

as for it sliding around in the trunk; i got a single 12" in a ported box and it weighs so much and the box is covered in the carpet material that it pretty much stays still around almost any corner. 'cept when i'm auto-x'ing/draggging

Wow crazy. I got a red lude and a 500w rockford amp too...but mines a current model and Power series! Ooohhhh! Im runnin 2 JL 10w3v3s though. Amps in the spare tire well with a cap and other amp. You should be happy with your setup. It should perform for quite a while. Definately get some 4 ga tho. No hoaky Schoche wire either. Get some legit 4 ga or your spinning your wheels. If you dont think "that much for wire?" its probably not good. Coppers expensive right now so for an amp kit or if you buy it by the foot from a local shop your looking about 100 bones. Trust me you need it! RF amps are a little picky. They want all the current they can get at their disposal.
