Howdy to all y'all. I usually ride a motorcycle but have recently crossed paths with a 2ndG Prelude.

A relative parked this about 8 years ago when he got a company car. It's been sitting since. It's a 12V, carburettor, 110k miles, with AS automatic tranny. Aside from the usual "car that's been sitting" treatment, is there anything special to do/be wary of/look for when changing status from yard art to wheels?

Tried to post URL to images...Well here they are as uploads instead.

welcome to pz!, url's can't be posted until after 15 posts. Anyway, look for leaks around the car, and obviously body wear would have probably formed already. Aside from that i would think you'd be ok..unless the timing belts ac compressor..etc might have to be changed as well seeming it hit it's mark in miles already

Nice pickup!

I can suggest you thoroughly inspect every vacuum line for signs of rotting...drain all fluids including gasoline. Do a healthy tuneup before firing the car up.
Also, check to see if an animal has moved inside the car within the 8 years, lol!

nice!! 2gs are fun but can be a pain to maintain. . .if you're a bike guy and have worked with carbs you should be fine!
