not speaking from experience...but the e-manage ultimate seems to be the best way to tune your car without having to go with a stand alone system...and for people like me who have the auto shift, and cant get hondata or aem, its a good choice...especially with the price...i plan to get one after i get my turbo, whenever that may be...

there is already a thread about E-manage ecu's. but the result of the discussion was that e-manage ultimates caused problems with vtec shiftpoints and were not the best ones to go with. if i were u stick with the emanage blue ecu. i have the emanage blue and its superb..i have never had any problems with it and its been in over a year. my shift point is 4800rpm

will the universal addapter hoook right up or did you have to splice anything?

i dunno about the universal adapter but if you want do it properly u have the get the harness which is specific to the car u want it in. but the easy and much cheaper way is to splice and hardwire it straight into your exisitng ecu leads but it can be a pain if ur selling the car or getting rid of it and plan on keeping the ecu.

that means the vtec shift point went from 5000rpm's(mine is cuz its the auto) or whatever yours is to a 4800....thats great, and you are turbo or s/c right???

dubbs.

Can you adjust the idle and the A/F ratio with the blue one?
