I just got my hands on a set of front and rear slotted/drilled rotors with semi-metallic brake pads and stainless steel brake lines Cost me 340$ shipped and the guy has excellent feedback on ebay Irotors is the name.

Should I have them proffesionally installed or can my friend install all of the above he says he can (hes rather knowledgable) but I don't know much about braking systems and what needs to be done.

Whats a good spring/shock setup, I wanna match colors, Color really isn;t that important but as long as they match, i.e red springs with with red shocks :P

shouldn't be too bad if he knows what he's doing.

kyb agx adjustable shocks with h&r sport springs. good ride, and they'll match. the shocks are red and black, the springs are black. you can go for a stiffer and lower ride with the h&r race springs. those ones are red.

whats the total cost of the KYB agx's? I do recommend these too. Along with the Tein Basics......

agx's are around $400 i think...

as for installing rotors/pads/brake lines... it's really not that bad.. if he says he knows how to do it.. and you trust him, go ahead... but remember... those are your car's brakes... and like they say, it hurts to admit when you make a mistake.. but sometimes if the mistake is big enough, the pain only lasts a second.... if ya get my drift

j/w why you wanna match the colors of the suspension?
the only time you'll see it is when you take the rimZZZ off.

kyb agx + neuspeed/h&r sport or races = FTW

and its a good thing you got a good deal on the brakes, otherwise the x-drilled and slotted rotors are a lil overkill on a daily driver.

haha yeah I know I don't need to stop that hard, but there have been times where my brakes havent helped me and I have had to swerve into the other lane cause my brakes didn't stop fast enough and I plan on running more power down the road :)

I want to match the colors just to smile, but also I don't want a significant drop 1.5 TOPS because with my wwrs lip kit (coming soon) and my horrific driveway I need some sort of height.

Is 340$ shipped a good deal for all F+R rotors/pads/lines??

yes thats a good deal. Also look at the pro kit setup for our ludes. they give about 1.5" drop.

pro kit springs as in eibach? 1.2 front 1.0 rear sounds like a nice little drop to me.

if you decide to do it yourself, can you take pics of the areas where it was difficult, so i get a better heads-up of what i'm doing
