figured i would bust your balls... about 2 weeks ago i was searchin around for a turbo. I was on ebay, typed in Turbo Kit then filled in the information. And got this,

select people knew about it, like TopEndLude, and team123luder... thanks for keepin it secret. i got it for 800$ plus 45 for shipping. i think i shoulda payed less, but ya know what, im on a budget and a kit like this isnt comin around again. it has about 6k on it, and it came off an 89 b20 so direct bolt up. Only thing it needs is a BOV and oil lines. i kept checkin the ebay thread at the top of the page to make sure none of you 3rd genners found it haha, and my luck payed off, and it should be here within the next week or so. what do you guys think.

Nice. Needs to be cleaned up bad, but it should be a lot of fun :D Who makes the kit? Or is it someone else's driveway special?
Man I wish I didn't love SoCal so much... I'd move to another state then I could do whatever the **** I wanted to my motor :(

I'd say you got robbed, because that stuff looks like its all used up and half beat up. You could've gotten a brand new turbo for way less than $800.00 and pieced together the rest of the stuff for fairly cheap. Hell, I paid right around 3-400 dollars for a brand new small 16g turbo for my 92 Eclipse. I'd definitely say you got robbed. You should've done more shopping around before commiting to buying anything. The internet is vast, and info is on it, everywhere.

Considering you got an intercooler and exhaust manifold with the kit, and the convenience of piping already made for the application, it's not a bad deal.

Just because someone on ebay said it was a bolt on kit doesn't make it so.

ok.. yes.. i did.... but that's no reason for the IC piping to be a bit off, nor have the turbo hit the front engine mount.... i do not believe those differe between base and sh

yea... had to enlarge the hole for the p.s. cooler to fit the piping (when the piping SUPPOSEDLY should have fit, but there was no way it would have) and then shave off a bit of the motor mount, not the mount itself, but some extra metal of the bracket. that, and cut some of the plastic from the fan shroud.. it was also in the way

i am sorry bro i have to agree with the others on this. when it come to turbo dont cheap out go big or go boom. i would definitely suggest a rebuild on that turbo before u install it and make sure that u have a pro rebuild it. all of that should have cost you about 800 brand new.
but i know what you mean buy turbo stuff is sh*tty expensive. good luck with the build they are fun!
